This privacy statement describes how Farminform B.V. (Farminform), as data controller, handles personal data and for which purposes data are processed by Farminform. Farminform is located at Tielweg 10 in Gouda and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 27079751.
We recommend that you read this privacy statement carefully and regularly. We reserve the right to make changes to this statement. 

About Farminform

As a data trust, Farminform facilitates the exchange of market and user information within the healthcare and pharmaceutical supply chain. As a specialist in collecting, enriching, processing and publishing information, we attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. In doing so, we comply with the requirements set by laws and regulations and continuously work on optimising our privacy policy.

Data processing and the AVG

Farminform adheres to the applicable laws and regulations when processing personal data. This means, among other things, that:

  • we only collect those personal data that are necessary for legitimate purposes;
  • we clearly state in this privacy statement for which purposes and for how long we process personal data;
  • we request your prior consent to process personal data in cases where this is required;
  • we take all reasonable measures to protect and secure your personal data;
  • we inform you of your rights under the AVG in this privacy statement. 
 
Purposes of data processing 

We process personal data in order to provide the service, information or services you have requested. The purposes for which we process personal data are:

  • Performing the agreements concluded with you;
  • Providing information and support. When you use our contact form or send us an e-mail, personal data is processed. The data you send us is processed on the basis of your consent;
  • Compliance with legal obligations, including with regard to administration and retention obligations.
  • Communication from service, communication and marketing purposes;
  • Granting access to our premises and website;
  • Recruitment and selection.

Provision of your personal data to third parties

We only provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to execute our agreement. In doing so, we do not process more data than strictly necessary for the purposes described. Farminform does not share your data with third parties and does not process data outside the EU.

Retention period

Farminform will not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary for the purpose for which we process your data. In some cases Farminform is subject to a retention obligation by law. Your data will then be kept in accordance with the statutory period. After the expiry of the set or statutory retention period, your data will be destroyed.

Automated decision-making

Farminform does not use profiling or automated decision-making.

Farminform takes the necessary technical and organisational measures to adequately secure the personal data we process. We do this in accordance with the applicable legal requirements and guidelines. In addition, only authorised employees within Farminform have access to personal data if this is necessary for the performance of their work.

  • right to data portability: you have the right in certain cases to have the personal data we process about you transferred to another party;
  • right to restriction of processing: in certain cases, you can request us to (temporarily) restrict the processing of your personal data.
