We are pleased to announce that\u00a0Lela Saou<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has started as the new data protection officer for Farminform BV with effect from 10 October 2022.<\/p>\n

‘With her expertise and experience, Lela will make an important contribution to our cooperation with the healthcare field,’ said\u00a0Luuk Renfurm<\/a><\/strong>, managing director Farminform.<\/p>\n

As data protection officer, Lela oversees the application of and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation within Farminform and informs and advises Farminform on the legal obligations arising from data protection legislation.<\/p>\n

Lela has a background in (international) health law, focusing on privacy. She also has extensive experience as \ud835\uddd9\ud835\uddda at both large and small organisations in a variety of industries within the healthcare sector.
\nLela is a member of the Dutch Society of Data Protection Officers and the Health Law Association.<\/p>\n

Farminform is the national, independent data trust for pharmaceutical data. In addition, Farminform facilitates secure data exchange for healthcare providers, governments and industry and initiates various forms of cooperation.<\/p>\n

Farminform strives for long-term cooperation with organisations that help healthcare providers to use medicines effectively with patients. Various parties in healthcare benefit from the use of combined healthcare data.<\/p>\n
