Mossupan: collaboration Farminform – Erasmus MC

By signing the agreement, Birgit Koch, professor of clinical pharmacometrics at Erasmus MC, and Luuk Renfurm, managing director Farminform, confirmed Farminform’s entry into the Mosuppan consortium. This programme, subsidised by ZonMW, deals with pandemic preparedness in pharmacy. One line of research involves analysing drug use and predicting drug shortages.
The Farminform data, which allows detailed insight into Dutch medicine use, is a vital pillar for this medicine shortage research.
In this collaboration, Erasmus MC and Farminform are working together to ensure that the availability of essential medicines for patients in the Netherlands will continue to be guaranteed in the future.
A fine example of cooperation between different organisations on a socially relevant issue in order to advance healthcare together.
